vXchange HWA, and its partner Schneider Electric, worked with vXchange data center to supply 10 megawatts of Uninterruptible Power System (UPS) capacity for their collocation data center in Santa Clara, California. Our team worked with the consultant engineer and the owner in the design and implementation of the fast paced project.
As we worked closely with the owner, they also requested information about standby generation systems. We introduced them to Russelectric and then designed and procured a paralleling generation system to control five (5) 2,000 kilowatt 480-volt diesel engine generators along with twenty (20) 1,600 amp automatic transfer switches.
Ride Out Hospital HWA worked with Toft Wolff Farrow consultants to design a 300 kilowatt Uninterruptible Power System (UPS) system for RideOut Hospital. It is designed to supply critical power for the intensive care unit (ICU), surgery, imaging, and IT departments. The installation features the Symmetra PX product by Schneider Electric, one of the most efficient UPS systems on the market with an “energy star” rating. The installation can be easily upgraded to 500 kilowatts with individual 25 kilowatt modules added to the existing UPS frame.
