Jim Hoyt

Jim is a major principal in HWA and has been with HWA since 1981. He has over 30 years experience in the design, application and sales of the critical electrical products. He is responsible for managing the sales and customer service in Northern California and supporting the wide variety of customers we serve.
George Gugale

George has been with HWA since 2007 and has over 30 years of experience in the UPS industry. George is well known in the Bay Area for providing excellent customer service and technically responsive solutions to ever-changing business continuity challenges. Based in our San Jose office, George focuses on serving the needs of electrical contractors, consulting engineers, and select end users.
Tammie Hawthorne

Tammie joined the HWA team in 1993. She has held numerous positions within HWA, working from the ground up to become our “go to” person. Tammie is currently responsible for Service Sales activities as well as repair/replacement parts for all product lines. Tammie’s attention to detail and willingness to help our customers has made her an invaluable part of the HWA team.
Grace Crook

Grace joined HWA in 2021 with a strong background in customer service and sales. Her acumen for organization and customer-centric focus makes her an asset to her customers and the HWA team.
Joel Hughes
|
Joel has worked in the electrical field for more than a dozen years. He has experience in various fields including power distribution, photo-voltaic arrays, batteries and the installation and maintenance of critical power equipment. Much of electrical training comes from his time in service in the United States Air Force. Joel is also another team member who touts experience working as a Sr. Field Service Engineer for a major UPS manufacturer. Joel is focused on developing design solutions in an efficient and effective manner by making the customer's needs the highest priority.
Hector Arenas

Hector has been working in the critical power field for 19 years, and has a high degree of knowledge in projects relating to UPS applications. As a non commissioned officer in the United States Air Force, Hector was directly responsible for the readiness of mission critical power generating equipment in support of DOD reconnaissance operations. Most recently and prior to joining the HWA team, Hector was the field project leader for a large critical power equipment manufacturer, making him directly responsible for the support, commissioning and service of the largest UPS install base in the country.

Nancy brings the HWA team 17 years of experience in order and project management. Nancy’s attention to detail during project execution, and her “customer first” commitment assures smooth transitions from order, to shipment, to project completion.
